Your Settings section in Hyper is where you manage your personal account information, iMessage/SMS text settings (for on-the-go expense submissions), linked accounts, delegate access, and notification settings. You can access it from your dashboard homepage by clicking on the Settings icon located in the lower-left corner of the page.
Your Account
Your account displays your Account details, Linked Bank Accounts, Linked Personal Credit Cards, and Your Calendar settings.
Your Profile
Your profile displays your full name, email address, and phone number settings.
- Full name and email address:
These cannot be modified directly from your account. If you need to update either of these, please contact Hyper Support with the details of the changes you require, and our team will update them for you. - Phone number:
By adding your mobile phone number to your Hyper profile, you unlock the ability to submit expenses for reimbursement directly via iMessage or SMS—one of the fastest and most convenient ways to submit receipts on the go. - How to Add Your Phone Number
- In the Profile section, locate the Phone Number field.
- Click the field, and a pop-up window will appear prompting you to enter your phone number. Your phone number must be entered in international format. Example: if you are located in the USA or Canada, type your number as +1 555 123 4567.

Linked Bank Accounts
You can link your personal bank account to your Hyper account so that any approved reimbursements (for expenses, stipends, or per diems) are paid directly to you via ACH transfer. Linking your account ensures faster and more secure payments.
Linked Personal Credit Cards
You can link your personal credit card to Hyper so that:
- If you make a business-related purchase on your personal card, you can create an expense directly from your transaction history and submit it for reimbursement without manual entry.
- All your transactions are visible only to you (completely confidential).
Your employer will only see expenses that you submit for reimbursement—everything else remains private.
Connecting Your Calendar
By enabling the "Connect your calendar" feature in Hyper, you empower TARS to automatically detect and add attendees to your expense submissions, saving you time and ensuring accuracy.
If you attend a business meal, meeting, or event with others, and that event is on your calendar, TARS will be able to see who the attendees were and automatically pull that information into your expense report. This eliminates the need to manually list attendees and ensures the submission complies with your company’s expense policy.
For Example:
- You go to dinner with a client on Tuesday at 7:00 PM.
- That dinner is in your synced calendar and includes the client as an attendee.
- When you submit the expense, TARS will automatically include the client as an attendee for that expense.
TARS only reads calendar data related to expenses and does not access or store unrelated personal events.
Delegate Access
Delegate Access allows another team member to act on your behalf in Hyper. Delegates can:
- Create trips
- Claim per diems
- Submit expense reports
- Claim stipends
To add a delegate:
- Click on Delegate Access from the navigation column on the left in the Settings page.
- Click on Add Delegates in the top right corner of the Delegate Access section.
- Search for the person’s name or email.
- Select them from the dropdown list and click Add Delegates.
