Managing Integrations as an Admin
As an admin, you can easily manage integrations that enhance how your team uses Hyper. These include:
- Calendar Integrations
- Messaging Platform Integrations
These integrations help streamline the expense submission process by allowing TARS to automatically retrieve contextual details, saving time and improving accuracy.
Calendar Integrations
Calendar integrations allow TARS to connect with your employees’ calendars and automatically match events (such as client meetings or travel) with expense submissions.
Supported Platforms:
- Google Calendar
- Microsoft Outlook (Microsoft 365)
To Connect a Calendar:
- Click on Settings in the lower left corner of the web dashboard and then Integrations in the left-side navigation column.
- Click Connect next to the calendar platform of your choice.
- You will be prompted to enter your calendar account credentials.
- Once connected, TARS will check for matching calendar events when an expense is submitted and automatically append relevant event details (like attendee names, meeting title, or purpose).
Messaging platform integrations allow employees to submit expenses directly to TARS from their preferred communication tool, without needing to open the web dashboard or mobile app.
Supported Platforms:
- Slack
- iMessage
- SMS
- (Other messaging platforms coming soon)
To Connect a Messaging Platform:
- Click on Settings in the lower left corner of the web dashboard and then Integrations in the left-side navigation column.
- Click Connect next to the desired platform.
- Follow the prompts to enter login details or authorize access.
- Once connected, employees will be able to send receipts and expense details directly via Slack or iMessage, and TARS will handle the rest.
Why Integrate?
- Automated context: TARS uses calendar events to automatically add attendee details to expenses.
- Flexible input: Employees can use the tools they already rely on—texting or Slack—to file expenses.
- Time-saving: Reduces the need for manual entry and ensures greater accuracy and compliance.
