How to Use the Reports Page

The Reports section in Hypercard gives Admins powerful tools to analyze company-wide financial activity in real time. From visualizing spend trends to exporting raw data, the Stats page helps you make informed decisions based on actual usage patterns.

Note: The Reports section is only available to users with Admin privileges.

Accessing the Reports Page

  1. Log in to your Hypercard account.
  2. Click Reports in the left-hand navigation column.
The page will open to the Reports Dashboard, which includes multiple tabs: Home, Expenses, and Stipends.

The Reports section is divided into tabs, each offering a different lens into your financial data:
  1. Home Tab: High-level overview of your organization’s spend, with summary cards and key metrics.
  2. Expenses Tab: Detailed breakdowns of expense activity by category, date, employee, merchant, and more.
  3. Stipends Tab: Insights into how stipends are distributed and used across departments or individuals.

Viewing Key Metrics and Charts

  1. Each tab includes dynamic charts and summary cards.
  2. Hover over chart elements to view tooltips and specific values.
  3. Scroll down to view detailed transaction lists in both the Expenses and Stipends tabs.

Filtering and Customizing Data

You can filter and segment the data displayed using the controls at the top of the page. Filters include:
  1. Search Field – Search by employee name, merchant, description, or amount.
  2. Date Range – Filter by specific time periods (weekly, monthly, quarterly, or custom).
  3. Group By – Organize data by employee, merchant, category, payment method, and more.

Applying filters will immediately refresh the visualizations and summary metrics.

Exporting and Sharing Reports

  1. You are able to download reports in the Expenses and Stipends tabs.
  2. You can first apply filters to export only the data you need. 
  3. Click the Download button (located next to the Filter icon) to export the full transaction list as a CSV file.
  4. Exports can be used for internal reporting, forecasting, or importing into external tools.
