Using the Accounting Section

Using the Accounting Section

The Accounting section in Hyper is available to Admins and users assigned the Accountant role. It gives you access to all financial transactions—expenses, stipends, and payments—and allows you to export or sync data with your external accounting systems like NetSuite or QuickBooks, etc.

Accessing the Accounting Section

  1. Log in to your Hyper account.
  2. Click the Accounting icon in the left-hand navigation column.
Accessing The Accounting Section
The Accounting Dashboard in Hyper allows admins and accountants to review, approve, and export transactions, as well as view payment history. At the top of the page you will see three main tabs:

1. Requires Your Review
This tab displays all reimbursement transactions that have not been auto-approved and require manual review. Before approving or rejecting a transaction, you can:
  1. Edit the Debit GL Account and Vendor Credit GL Account
  2. Add additional instructions or notes
  3. Review the payment method
  4. Add a memo for reference
Idea
To view additional details, hover your mouse over the transaction and scroll left or right. Use the Filter icon  at the top right to filter data by: Merchant, Date, Employee, Category, and more.
2.Ready to Export
This tab displays all transactions that have been:
  1. Auto-approved
  2. Approved manually
  3. Rejected
These transactions are now ready to be synced with your accounting software. To export:
  1. Select individual transactions or select all.
  2. Click the Export button at the top of the page.
  3. The transactions will sync with your connected accounting software.
3. Completed
This tab lists all transactions that have already been synced with your accounting software

Payment History
